In this episode, we welcome Dr. Stephanie Malin, Associate Professor at Colorado State University, to share her academic journey into environmental justice and her insights about why environmental justice matters to our society, to all of us.

Through this conversation, we aim to prompt audience to reflect on the inequalities prevalent in our relationship with the environment.

Stephanie Malin博士，科罗拉多州立大学社会学系副教授，科罗拉多公共卫生学院兼职副教授，科罗拉多州立大学环境正义中心联合创始人。Malin博士的主要兴趣包括环境正义、环境健康、社会运动和市场经济。她还是两本书的作者：与Meghan Elizabeth Kallman合著的 Building Something Better: Environmental Crises and the Promise of Community Change (2022)，以及 The Price of Nuclear Power: Uranium Communities and Environmental Justice (2015)（《核电的代价：铀社区与环境正义》）。

Dr. Stehpanie Malin, Associate Professor at Department of Sociology, Adjunct Associate Professor at Colorado School of Public Health, co-founder of Center for Environmental Justice at CSU. Dr. Malin is specializing in the community impacts of extraction and energy production. Her main interests include environmental justice, environmental health, social movements, and market-based economies. She also examines communities building more distributive and regenerative systems. Stephanie is the author of two books, Building Something Better: Environmental Crises and the Promise of Community Change (2022) with Meghan Elizabeth Kallman, and The Price of Nuclear Power: Uranium Communities and Environmental Justice (2015).
