What languages can you speak?
I can speak Mandarin, English, some Spanish, and a bit of Japanese, oh, not to mention my own dialect of Mandarin. Although my mother tongue is the Sichuan dialect, I learned Mandarin at school since all subjects were taught in it, which is essential for communication in most parts of China.
English was the primary foreign language offered in my area, and mastering it has opened up many personal, academic and professional opportunities for me. Additionally, I picked up some Spanish and Japanese from native-speaking friends, which has broadened my cultural understanding.

When I traveled to Mexico, I realized how useful Spanish could be, which motivated me to focus more on learning it. Improving my Spanish would enhance my travel experiences and open up new cultural opportunities.
