Miatta: From building communities in BJ to property in UK
With Sierra Leonean origins, Miatta has spent most of her time growing up and studying in London. In addition, she stayed in Beijing for a few years building cross-cultural communities, including leading 20+ women volunteering as the Beijing Ladies Who Tech Director and co-founded the Africa-China-focused Social Enterprise Kente & Silk. Always an innovative problem solver and with a vibrant personality, Miatta is now back in London building a property business called Kumba Estates, led by her elder sister. Kumba Estates is part of an ambitious Sierra Leone-UK business group on the path to building property, mining, agricultural and tourism investment opportunities globally in the long term.
