21Cyndi Wong, a singer and actress from Taiwan, China, is now making a comeback. After her performance on Sisters Who Make Waves, she is now seeing a resurgence in popularity in mainland China, probably to her own surprise.
I'm nowhere near a fan of hers, but this phenomenon caught my attention. Everyone seems to be talking about her, but I think this has more to do with ourselves than with her, in fact. Some of us have a nostalgic feeling; some feel entertained, and some are learning facts here and there.
Everybody gets what they want, that's for the best.
