Precipitation.
Any form of water that falls from the atmosphere, including rain, snow, hail and sleet.
Humidity.
The amount of water vapor present in the air.
Forecast.
A prediction of the weather conditions for a future period of time.
Fog.
A visible Cloud of tiny water droplets or ice particles suspended near the ground.
Drought.
A period of prolonged dryness, usually caused by a lack of precipitation.
The weather affects us all! We’ve all been there— checking the forecast to see if we need a jacket or umbrella. Sometimes, the weather can be challenging, like when there's a drought or thick fog makes it hard to see. Understanding how much precipitation and humidity is in the air helps us know what to expect and stay safe. Sunny days are great, but knowing about all kinds of weather helps us enjoy the outdoors and be prepared for anything!
