足底筋膜炎是一种常见的运动损伤,也是一种肌肉骨关节系统的常见疾病。从两个“常见”不难看出,不像髂胫束综合征几乎只与运动人群相关,足底筋膜炎可能累及有无运动习惯的任何人。
由于不同轻重程度的症状和持续迁延时间,18岁以上成年人的足底筋膜炎流行率从17-45%不等,甚或有观点认为人的一生之中几乎无法避免足底筋膜炎的发生。在不同人群方面,足底筋膜炎与性别无明确相关性,与年龄呈现正相关,年龄越大,发病率越高。跑步人群的足底筋膜炎发病率约为10-20%。
